Linda Cheryl Dennis

 

SANTA FE - Ms. Linda Cheryl Dennis passed from this life Tuesday afternoon, November 16, 2010, peacefully at home.

 

     Born July 2, 1947 in Galveston, TX, Ms. Dennis had been a lifetime resident of Galveston County,  a bartender at The Driftwood in Santa Fe and enjoyed playing eight liners and visiting with friends and family.

 

     She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Holmes and Mary Elizabeth Polkinhorn; brother, Harvey Holmes.

 

     Survivors include her sons, Grady Wayne Dennis, Shawn Dennis, Stefan Dennis and Christopher Hubbard; daughter, Shawna Dennis; grandchildren, Moses Dennis, Clairabella Dennis, Lance Hardy, Waylon Honc, Blake Honc, Keith Reznicek, Jr., Jayce Patterson and Bryce Patterson; great- grandchildren, Kaiden Hardy and Kaylee Hardy; sisters, Judy Quijano and Diane Brannon.

 

     A memorial visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2010, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.  www.hayesfuneralhome.com
