Amy Ann (Ryan) Soylu

     NORTH CAROLINA - Mrs. Amy Ann (Ryan) Soylu passed from this life and into the arms of God on Saturday morning, June 17, 2017, while in Turkey.

     Born November 2, 1967 in Galveston, Mrs. Soylu was an avid artist who sold her art online and at craft fairs and shows. Mrs. Soylu was a loving wife, sister, friend and admired in the art community. Her love for painting, sculpturing and jewelry making was her passion. Amy’s love for her precious fur babies, Dylan, Dixie, Louie, Seymour and Sophie, was one of her greatest joys.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Joseph “Joe” and Amy Lou Ryan and father-in-law, Huseyin Soylu.

     Survivors include the love of her life, her husband of 12 years, Ugur Soylu of North Carolina; mother-in-law, Ayse Soylu of Turkey; siblings, Vickie Lynn Koehler of Santa Fe, Daniel Joseph Ryan, Jr. and wife, Kim of Kansas, Robin Davenport and husband, Doug of Santa Fe; sisters-in-law, Yasemin Soylu and Saime Soylu both of Turkey; nieces and nephews, Shawn Ryan and wife, Angela, T.J. Moore and wife, Kasey, Lacey Webb and husband, T.J., Brandon Koehler, Jordan Davenport and fiancé, Lorin Wisko, Jared Koehler, Brittany Allen and husband, Aaron, Bahar Soylu and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

     Visitation with the family will be from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2017, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, with a funeral service beginning at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Yohan Baek officiating. A private cremation will be conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
