     HITCHCOCK – Mr. Bobby Lynn Forgason passed from this life Saturday morning, October 28, 2017, in Webster.

     Born June 23, 1939 in New Iberia, Louisiana, Mr. Forgason had been a resident of Hitchcock for 2 years, previously of Lafayette. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a directional driller for many years as well as a truck driver, having owned and operated his own trucking company. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and watching Gold Rush.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Leon and Zilda Lucille (Castille) Forgason; brother, Billy Wayne Forgason.

     Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Florence Forgason; daughters, Debra Ann Mallett, Barbara Lynn Horne; sister, Betty Jo Forgason and Jean Ann Forgason; grandchildren, Dustin Robinson, Preston Mallett, Tracy Kenney, Derrick Horne, Vincent Horne and Tyler Forgason; 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

     Memorial services will be 4:00 p.m. Monday, October 30, 2017, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501, with Pastor Lee Balinas officiating. A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

     Memorials in the form of donations may be made in Bobby’s name to the SPCA, 3000 Avenue R, San Leon, Texas 77539.
