Brenda Ann (Fagan) Brandon

December 4, 1952 ~ April 28, 2017 (age 64) 64 Years Old

Brenda Ann Brandon

SANTA FE - Mrs. Brenda Ann Brandon passed from this life Friday morning, April 28, 2017, in Texas City.

Born December 4, 1952 in Texas City, Mrs. Brandon had been a lifelong resident of Santa Fe and an active member of First Baptist Church of Alta Loma for over 33 years. Brenda attended Alvin Community College and received an Associate’s Degree and later worked as a Professional Executive Assistant until she became a full time stay at home Mom.  Her passion was raising her family as she was a phenomenal mother to her two sons but she enjoyed being a mother to anybody that needed help in the community.   She had a servant’s heart, liked reading and animals (especially cats) but her greatest joy was raising her family and having them all together, where she was affectionately known as Mrs. B to all in town and B’ma to her grandbabies.  One very interesting fact about Brenda is she was very knowledgeable about many different subjects as she enjoyed sharing that information with people that called her or she came into contact with on a regular basis.  She will be truly missed by all but she will leave behind a legacy of being a servant, leading people to Christ, providing love to those who needed it, and her prayers that she prayed for others will last for eternity.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Willie Mae (York) Fagan.

Survivors include her loving husband of 42 years, Colin “CoCo” Brandon; sons, J.C. Brandon and wife, Lacey of Santa Fe, Matthew Brandon and wife, Britni of Seabrook; grandchildren, Mason, Hudson, Collins and Jacob.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 5, 2017, at First Baptist Church of Alta Loma, with Pastor John Newton officiating.  Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Paul Cowart, Chris English, Lance Howeth, Jason Moody, Bill Pennington and Matt Wentzel.

Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.

Memorials in the form of donations may be made in Brenda’s name to First Baptist Church of Alta Loma Mission Fund, 5400 FM 646 South, Santa Fe, Texas 77510.
