     LA MARQUE - Mrs. Brenda Kay Ydrogo passed from this life Saturday morning, October 21, 2017, in Webster.

     Born October 6, 1942 in Red Jacket, West Virginia, Mrs. Ydrogo had been a resident of La Marque and Galveston for most of her life. Brenda graduated from Abundant Life School of Ministry, was an accomplished pianist and she loved to bake and cook.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Wolford Sr. and Maude Della Meade-Blagg; son, Jonathan Guy Richert; brothers, Charles Wolford, Sr., Frank Wolford, Jr.

     Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years, Pedro “Pete” Ydrogo; sons, David Allen Newcomb of Aransas Pass, Franklin Dale Newcomb of Livingston; sisters-in-law, Sandra Wolford of Texas, Cayetana Pena of Houston, Antonia and Don Eastep of Texas City; grandchildren, Kimbrea Taylor of Borger, Texas, Crystal Newcomb of Livingston, Chloe Storman of Homsassa, Florida, Charles Wolford, Jr., of Kennesaw, Georgia, Kelly Wolford of Texas City, Zachary Richert of Leesville, Louisiana; 11 great-grandchildren.

     Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2017, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, with Reverend Wally Hamilton and Reverend James Benson officiating. Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.

     Pallbearers will be Zachary Richert, Casey Rodriguez, Mariano Rodriguez, Shane Scott, Amos Ydrogo and Miguel Ydrogo.

     Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501. Hayes Funeral Home
