August 25, 1929 ~ February 22, 2017 (age 87) 87 Years Old

Frances “Frankie” Jordan Hillman

Frances "Frankie" Jordan Hillman, 87, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at her home in Santa Fe after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer. She left this world peacefully and gratefully, under the constant care of family.

Frankie was born on August 25th, 1929 on Galveston Island to parents Allie Dove (Wheeler) and Richard Kane (Dick) Jordan. She attended local public schools and graduated from Ball High School.

Frankie was an active member of First Baptist Church of Alta Loma and as a volunteer at HIS Ministry in Santa Fe, Texas. She loved to sew, collect treasured "country antiques", and most importantly spend time with family and friends.

She married the love of her life, John Hines Hillman, on April 15th, 1948 and they enjoyed 57 years together, up to his death on December 20th, 2005.

Frankie was also preceded in death by parents Allie & Richard Jordan, son John Riley Hillman and his wife Julie (Reitmeyer) Hillman, their son Joe Riley Hillman, and her sister Mary Edna Lera.

Frankie was a devoted mother, Grammy, Aunt Frank and friend to countless others. She is survived by daughters Tracy Harrison (David) and Cindy Hillman (Keith "Doc" Hall) and sister Gladys Noland. Additionally she leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Frankie had a special gift of imparting such love to everyone she encountered that they soon came to believe she loved them, "most, of all".

A memorial service celebrating Frankie will be held in the sanctuary at First Baptist Church of Alta Loma, 5400 FM 646 South, Santa Fe, under the direction of her pastor, John Newton on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at 4:00 p.m.

A special note of gratitude goes to her devoted caregiver Punkin Watson.

In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations to HIS Ministry 4205 Jackson Street, Santa Fe, Texas 77517, or St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105.

She left this world infinitely loving; definitely loved.
