SANTA FE – Mr. Frank E. Mote passed from this life Wednesday afternoon, August 23, in Webster.

Born February 7, 1960 in Bay City, Texas, Mr. Mote had been a resident of Santa Fe for 22 years. He was a member of Chocolate Bayou Cowboy Church. Frank was a jack of all trades, who loved being in the country and the cowboy life including riding bulls, roping steers and pig hunting. He loved spending time with his grandkids hunting, fishing, watching football and sharing his life with them. Frank will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James William and Peggy Lenora (Schulz) Mote.

Survivors include his loving wife of 20 years, Lynette Mote; sons, Jason Baker and wife, Amber of Santa Fe, Daniel “DJ” Banik of Santa Fe, Garret Miller and wife, Ashley of Covington, Indiana, Justyn Mote of Santa Fe; daughters, Kacie Mote of Blessing, Jessica Casady and husband, Ron of San Leon; brothers, James William Mote, Jr. and wife, Vicki of Blessing, John Alan Mote and wife, Isabel of Demi John, Texas; grandchildren, Gage Baker, Gunner Baker, Nola Casady and River Casady; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 1, 2017, with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, (409) 925-3501, with Pastor Chance Gardner officiating.

Memorials in the form of donations may be made in Frank’s name to Chocolate Bayou Cowboy Church, 6808 CR 172, Alvin, Texas 77511.
