Herbert Isaac Orem, Jr. (Bubba)

     SANTA FE - Herbert Isaac Orem, Jr. (Bubba), age 41, passed from this life due to Acute Respiratory Distress on October 31, 2017, in Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, Webster, TX.

     Bubba was born on March 10, 1976, in Alvin and received his GED from Santa Fe in 1994. His memory will be carried on by his wife, Erin Orem; his son, Ty Dylan Orem; his parents, Ike and Barbara Orem; his sister, Jeremi Schlageter; his grandparents, Tommy and Jeanette Geddes, all of Santa Fe, TX; and a host of family and friends. He is proceeded in death by his grandparents, Jack and LaVerne Orem of Pearland, TX.

     Bubba was a great family man and a loving father. He married Erin in 2000 and the couple had Ty in 2004. He was a doting father and good friend. He was stubborn as a mule, but loved by those that knew him.

     Bubba was an avid sports fan, who had a deep affection for all the Houston sports teams, except the Dynamo, he hated soccer. He loved video games and music and had a vast collection of each. He had an incredible imagination, creativity and sense of humor that allowed him to endear himself to most folks he met. He will be missed terribly.

     Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2017, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501, with Pastor Joshua Doss officiating.

     All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bubba’s life.
