SANTA FE – Mr. Herman Glenn Westbrook, Jr., passed from this life Friday evening, February 10, 2017, in Santa Fe.

Born March 14, 1953 in Pittsburg, California, Mr. Westbrook had been a resident of Santa Fe for 10 years. He was a member of Sagemont Church, was an avid golfer, enjoyed gardening and loved his family especially his grandkids. He was affectionately known for having a heart as big as Texas.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Buford and Myrtle Quinn, Buddy William and Allie Mae Westbrook.

Survivors include his loving wife of over 4 years, Tommie Sue Geddes-Westbrook; parents, Herman Glenn Westbrook, Sr. and Alla Mae (Quinn) Westbrook of McAllen; son, Justin Vickery and wife, Dena of Hitchcock; daughter, Jennifer Vickery of Santa Fe; brother, Wesley Westbrook and wife, Patty of Midland; sister, Dabney Westbrook of Pharr; grandchildren, Rory and Jase Vickery.

Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 17, 2017, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501, with Reverend Rex Forsyth officiating. 

A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
