James V. Carlisle

     SANTA FE- Mr. James V. Carlisle passed from this life Christmas morning, December 25, 2017, in Webster.

     Born February 23, 1946 in Lamesa, Texas, Mr. Carlisle had been a resident of Santa Fe for 45 years. He proudly served his county in the United States Navy and had retired from Southwestern Bell after over 25 years of service. James enjoyed traveling, playing golf and was a member of the Chaparrel Club of Dickinson.

     Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Mary Carlisle; daughter, Kathy Carlisle and husband, Scott Tully.

     Visitation will be Friday, December 29, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with a service beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501, with Reverend Mark Marmon officiating. James requested that everyone wear bright colored clothing to his service.

     The family would like to offer a special thanks to the 3rd floor staff at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center Heart Tower for the loving care they gave James.
