John Daniel Quebe, Sr.

John Daniel “Danny” Quebe, Sr. (44) passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at his home in Texas City, TX. He was born in Texas City, TX on October 5, 1972 to John Clemith Quebe, Jr. and Lana (Terry) Baker.

Danny is now reunited with his father, John C. Quebe, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Florence and John C. Quebe, Sr. and maternal grandparents, Clifton and Georgene Terry.

Danny is survived by his children, Daniel, Dillon, Samantha, Emily and Gilbert as well as two grandchildren, Aubrey and Gavin. He is also survived by his mother, Lana Baker; stepmother, Kathy Quebe; siblings Laurie Sanders and husband Bubba, James Quebe, Casey Chapman and husband Mike. Danny also leaves behind beloved nieces and nephews, Brandi, Cody (Nicole), Kayla, Taylor, Kale, Kally and Kallen, as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. He attended La Marque High School and after graduation followed in his father’s footsteps and entered the electrical industry trade as an apprentice electrician, before becoming a journeyman electrician.

Danny was a devoted son, loving father, doting grandfather, kind-hearted brother, and a loyal friend. Danny had a smile that could fill a room with joy and a heart that could fill the world with love. Where Danny went laughter always followed. Danny had a passion for playing the guitar and cherished spending time with his family. Most often Danny could be found in tow of his ‘big sis’ whom he adored, Laurie. In recent days Danny’s priority was spending time with his beloved grandchildren, Gavin and Aubrey. Danny will be remembered for his wit, his compassion, his perseverance and most of all his love. Making his loved ones laugh and smile was Danny’s true life work. Danny’s radiant spirit will live on with each of us as his memory brings a smile to our faces.

Pallbearers will be James Quebe, Daniel Quebe, Dillon Quebe, Cody Sanders, Gilbert Garcia, and Albert Nagallanes.
