SANTA FE - Mrs. Mary Lee Taylor passed from this life Tuesday, September 5, 2017, in Santa Fe.

Born September 24, 1943 in Kennedy, Texas, Mrs. Taylor had been a resident of Santa Fe for 45 years. She enjoyed crocheting and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin Elvin and Dorothy Rae (Baird) Payne; husband, Billie Louie Taylor; brother, Robert Elvin Payne; grandson, Billy Joe.

Survivors include her son, Robert William Taylor and wife, Lanita D.; daughters, Dorothy Lorena Zaro and husband, Don, Lela Jeanette Bliss, Mary Jo Kilpatrick and husband, Doug; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2017, at First Baptist Church of Alta Loma, with Pastor John Newton officiating. A private cremation will be conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
