LA MARQUE - Mrs. Mishelle Elaine (Asquith) Weaver passed from this life Tuesday, June 13, 2017, in La Marque.

Born April 2, 1964 in Jackson, Michigan, Mrs. Weaver had been a resident of Santa Fe for most of her life. She was a registered nurse with St. Joseph’s Hospital in Houston and had formerly worked at Mainland Medical Center, UTMB, Shriners Hospital in Houston and Galveston, in addition to being a former nurse for the Houston Astros. Mishelle enjoyed reading and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence V. Asquith; husband, Fred Weaver.

Survivors include her mother, Sally Allison and husband, Steve of Bremond; sons, Jon Weaver and wife, Brandi of La Marque, Aaron Weaver and Crystal Carroll of Santa Fe; daughter, Alyssa Weaver of Santa Fe; parents-in-law, Bill and Carol Weaver, Jimmy and Nancy Harvey all of Santa Fe; brother, Scott Asquith and wife, Michele of Alvin; sister, Melinda Bahr and husband, Mike of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Holden Weaver, Ranger Lewis, Jon Weaver, Jr., Ireland Weaver, Harper Weaver, Tristan Weaver; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 22, 2017, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Lynn Kemp officiating. A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home. 

Memorials in the form of donations may be made in Mishelle’s name to Shriners Hospital for Children, 815 Market Street, Galveston, Texas 77550.
