HITCHCOCK - Ms. Roseanna Leigh Gonzalez passed from this life Sunday, March 4, 2018, in Galveston.

Born June 9, 1974 in Texas City, Ms. Gonzalez had been a lifelong area resident. She enjoyed fishing and was always taking care of others. Roseanna will best be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother to all who knew her.  

She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Bobbitt.

Survivors include her husband of 14 years, Arnie Hernandez of Hitchcock; mother, Earline Bobbitt; sons; Anthony Gonzalez of Hitchcock, Nikolas Hernandez of Clear Lake; daughters, Ashley Vaughn of La Marque, Rebecca Vaughn of Hitchcock; sisters, Melody Rouleau and husband, Mike Napoli of Dallas; Wilda Wilson of Hitchcock, Madalyn Tucker and husband, John of Texas City, Clarisa Cantu and Clifton Marsters of La Marque; grandchildren, Rodney, Weyman and Izabella Hall.

Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501, with Reverend Jesse Garcia officiating.
