SANTA FE - Mrs. Shelley Lynn (Mueller) David passed from this life Wednesday evening, February 14, 2018, in Sargent, Texas.

Mrs. David was born July 5, 1963 in Kansas City, Kansas. She had been a resident of Santa Fe for the last 31 years until her move to Sargent, Texas last year, where she spent her time doing what she loved… fishing. She enjoyed being outdoors, keeping up with fantasy football stats and you could always catch her eating crab and crawfish. Shelley was also a great cook, but her specialty was her pies. Her fun and loving spirit will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her father, Steve Mueller; sister-in-law, Rachael Mueller.

Survivors include her loving husband of 34 years, Charles David Sr.; son, Charles David, Jr., and wife, Jessica; daughter, Cristal Savage; mother, Sharon Mueller (Winstanley); brothers, Jim Mueller, Steve Mueller; brothers-in-law, Boyd David, Sr., Chris David; granddaughter, Olivia; nephews, Curtis, Andy, Boyd Jr.; niece, Ashli; furbabies, Bobo (Bobo Baby Boy) and Fred (Cutie Patootie).

Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2018 in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, with a celebration of life to follow at 7:00 p.m. A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
