SANTA FE - Mrs. Karen Sue Brown passed from this life Wednesday evening, December 27, 2017, in Santa Fe.

Born May 17, 1958 in Galveston, Sue was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 3789 of Santa Fe and was of the Church of Christ faith. She enjoyed volunteering at the Senior Citizen Group of Santa Fe and loved her fur babies Kee Kee and Candy.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Miller; husbands, Jimmy “Bubba” Sheridan, Jr., Jack Arnold, Cornelius “Pat” Brown; stepsons, Billy Ray Brown and Michael Patrick Brown.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Thornal; sons, Jason Arnold and wife, Jennifer, Ricky Lee Brown and his mother, Sharon; daughters, Debra Blamble and husband, Larry, Stephanie Reed, Wendy Zielinski; sister, Marilyn McLaren and husband, Ronnie; nephews, Trey and Robert Ramirez; numerous grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2018, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, with Minister Early Copeland officiating. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Parker Cemetery in Grapeland, Texas.

Visitation with the family will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501.

Pallbearers will be Larry Blamble, Jason Arnold, Robert Ramirez, Trey Ramirez, Kameron Leboeuf and Lee Jelks.

Sue wanted to say thank you to all her friends and loved ones at Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3789, VFW Post #5400, the Senior Citizen Group of Santa Fe and to offer a very special thanks to Diane and Tommy, cousin Kat, Erin, Rooster and Herman.
