Suzanne P. Abshier

     BACLIFF - Mrs. Suzanne P. Abshier passed from this life Sunday afternoon, September 3, 2017, in Webster.

     Born March 8, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois, Mrs. Abshier had been a resident of Bacliff for most of her life. She was a registered nurse and had spent the majority of her life caring for others in various nursing homes and home health agencies. When she was not working, her passion was reading, especially Clive Cussler books.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, George Elmer and Vera A. Price; brother, George Elmer Price, Jr.; sister, Kimberly Tucker.

     Survivors include her sons, Jason Abshier and wife, Barbara of Bacliff, Josh Abshier and wife, Elizabeth of Garland, Price Padgett of Galveston; grandchildren, Brandy Abshier, Brittany Abshier, Kayla Abshier, David Marshall, Curtis Poindexter, Jason Abshier, Jr., Dylan Padgett, Courtney Padgett, William Abshier, Kadence Abshier, Isabela Abshier; great-grandchildren, Easton Padgett, Hailey Abshier, Bentley Abshier, Jason Abshier Snook, Carly Abshier Snook.

     A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
