Vernon Fuller

SANTA FE - Mr. Vernon Fuller passed from this life Friday evening, June 28, 2013, at his home in Santa Fe.

     Born July 1, 1935 in Alta Loma, Mr. Fuller had been a lifetime resident of Santa Fe. He enjoyed many outdoor activities, especially fishing and working in the yard.  He loved his Lord, helping those in need and his family. 

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Clara Fuller and brother, William Fuller.

     Survivors include his loving wife of over 57 years, Hazel Fuller; daughter, Brenda Gilliam of Santa Fe; grandchild, Michaela Gilliam and great-grandchild, Steven Gilliam.

      Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, with Bishop Wayne Coleman officiating.  Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.

       Pallbearers will be Gerald Wayne Coleman II, Gerald Wayne Coleman III, Jimmy Driskell, Robert Driskell, Aaron Moorehead and Harry Porter.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Steven Gilliam and Timmy Moorehead.

     Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501.
