William H. “Bill” Archer

SANTA FE - Mr. William H. “Bill” Archer passed from this life Sunday, July 6, 2017, in Texas City.

Born March 27, 1949 in Lubbock, TX, Mr. Archer had been a resident of Santa Fe for 6 years, previously of Houston. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Bill was always a hard worker and loved to cook.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Bradford Harold Archer and Dorothy Moss (Von Wolfer) Archer and sister, Kaua Marcelle Doyle.

Survivors include his brother, Frank Archer; nephew, Dr. Robert Jeffery Doyle; cousins, David Fraizer, DeAnn Frazier and Paula Fink; close friend, Jack Jordan.

A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501.
