Garrett Fredric Hazlett, III
SANTA FE - Mr. Garrett Fredric Hazlett, III passed from this life Thursday, February 2, 2012, in Cleveland.
Born March 17, 1982 in Houston, Mr. Hazlett had been a resident of Santa Fe for most of his life. He worked as a waiter for TGI Friday’s, attended Aldersgate First United Methodist Church. Garrett enjoyed life, fishing, playing guitar, was very talented in arts and crafts, and especially loved animals and children.
Preceded in death by his great-grandmothers, Alice Harryman, Blanche Freshour and Alma Hazlett; grandparents, Sandra Hazlett, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson. Survivors include his parents, Gary and Janet Hazlett; mother, Marie Hazlett; grandparents, Charles and Elaine Coleman, Fred and Maureen Hazlett; brothers, Chris England and fiancée, Summer Riddle, Kenneth Mattes and wife, Kendra; sisters, Christina Tharp and husband, Martin, Bridgett Hazlett and fiancé, Daniel Clark; nieces and nephews, Jessica, Megan, Alexis, Bailey, Taylor, Autumn, Mitchell, Azzy and Nevaeh.
Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 5:00 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2012, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
In lieu of flowers those who wish may make donations in the name of Garrett Fredric Hazlett, III to Amegy Bank in Santa Fe.
