SANTA FE – Mrs. Charlotte Claudine Jackson passed from this life Saturday morning, March 30, 2024, in League City.
Born May 12, 1940, in Winnsboro, TX, Mrs. Jackson had been a resident of Santa Fe since 1969. She was an English and drama teacher at Santa Fe ISD, retiring after 30 years. She attended Midway Church of Christ. Charlotte started the Santa Fe Community Theater in 1983. She took many trips to New York to see shows there and had a great passion for drama and choregraphing shows.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. Jackson, III; parents-in-law, Frank W. and Aurora Jackson, II.
Survivors include daughters, Wendy Brown and husband, Albert, Jennifer Maus; grandchildren, Michael Gray, Justin Brown, Phillip Maus (Annaliese), Clay Maus; great grandchildren, Cullen Gray and Roseann Brown.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Midway Church of Christ, 10408 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX, with Mr. Russell McLaughlin officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Albert Brown, Justin Brown, Michael Gray, Cullen Gray, Phillip Maus and Clay Maus.
