Raymond Kenneth Williams
SANTA FE - Mr. Raymond Kenneth Williams passed away November 15, 2011 at his residence in Santa Fe, Texas at the age of 83, surrounded by his family.
Mr. Williams was born April 5, 1928 in Houston, Texas, to Frank R. Williams and Bertice Blackburn. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army, receiving an honorable discharge. He retired from American National Insurance Company after 47 years of service and loved playing golf, gardening and spending time with his family.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Frank Williams and sister, Maissie Ann Rentzch. Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Mildred M. Williams; brother, Clarence Williams; sisters, Dorothy Borden, Jewel Wilma Creco; sons, Thomas E. Williams and wife, Laura, David R. Williams and wife, Sheila; daughter, Linda G. Williams; grandchildren, Thomas “Edward” Williams, Sara E. Williams, Jacob L. Dean, Joshua J. Dean, Kim Williamson, James Allen, Steve Allen; great-grandchildren, Taylor L. Williams, Tarrah L. Williams, Reilly M. Williams, Connor M. Dean, Caden Allen, Samantha Allen, Jonathan Allen, Danielle Allen and Cody Williamson.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011, at Hayes Funeral Home, Pastor Matthew Brackman officiating.
Pallbearers will be, Edward Dantin, Fred Dantin, Jacob L. Dean, Joshua J. Dean, Kenneth Rice and Thomas “Edward” Williams.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
The family would like to thank the Hospice Care Team of Texas City, Pam Austin, RN, Dr. Lee Grumbles and UTMB primary care physician Dr. Michael Thanh Nguyen for the care given to our father.
