Please read the below statement from the staff and family at Hayes Funeral Home:
Since 1972, we have helped thousands of families care for that which is the most valuable to them… their family.
Our ideals and values remain the same as they always have… “Serving Others as We Would Wish to be Served”, and we will continue to serve you through our current pandemic with COVID-19.
The world’s situation has presented special challenges that are impacting people and businesses alike…and ours is no exception. In an effort to keep us all safe, we will be complying with State and Federal agency guidelines regarding attendance and social distancing. Therefore, due to Governor Abbott’s Executive Orders, social distancing must be observed. Family members of the same household may sit together, but must allow 6 feet between other families when attending services conducted at our facility or other locations until further notice. EFFECTIVE JULY 3, 2020, ALL PEOPLE ENTERING THE BUILDING MUST WEAR A MASK. THIS INCLUDES THOSE ATTENDING VISITATIONS AND/OR SERVICES.
We understand that sharing our grief with others is an important aspect of the healing process and these current restrictions may make that difficult but are committed to working with our families so that we can make the best of a bad situation. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all that are faced with this situation, and especially to our dedicated health care professionals and first responders, who are truly on the “front lines”.
Our office continues to maintain normal business hours, as well as we continue to provide 24-hour on call service to those in need.
