     SANTA FE - Mrs. Annie Lee Greene passed from this life Thursday morning, December 21, 2017, in Santa Fe.

    Born April 12, 1926 in St. Petersburg, Florida, Mrs. Greene had been a resident of Santa Fe since 1974, previously of Arcadia. She spent her life creating a loving home for her husband, children and grandchildren. Annie attended Abundant Life Church, Hitchcock First Assembly and First Assembly of God in Galveston. She enjoyed working in the yard, sewing and was an avid shopper but her greatest pleasure in life were her grandkids.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley and Etta (Musselwhite) Williams; husband, Thomas Lysander Greene, Jr.; son, Joseph W. Greene; 6 brothers and 5 sisters.

     Survivors include her son, Johnny W. Crump and wife, Heidie of Santa Fe; daughter, Patricia Fanguy of St. Petersburg, FL; grandchildren, John W. Crump, Jr., Pattie Crump, LeAnn Crump, Victoria Fanguy, Tina Charles, Nikolai Charles, Arielle Charles; 15 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.

     Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 28, 2017, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, with Pastor Buddy Herring, Jr. officiating.

     Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501.

     Memorials in the form of donations may be made in Annie’s name to Abundant Life Christian Center or to the ministry of your choice.
