SANTA FE - Mr. Chad Alan Baxter passed from this life Friday evening, July 21, 2017, in Santa Fe.

Born June 19, 1990, Mr. Baxter had been a lifelong resident of Galveston County. Chad worked for Fencing Solutions and enjoyed playing pool and going to the beach in his spare time. Chad was a very caring person and loved his son very much.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Connie and David Thornton; son, Hunter Dean Baxter; sister, Tori Robles and husband, Daniel; step-brother, Eric Thornton; nephews, Tyler Ray Cruz, Owen Thornton, Sawyer Thornton; niece, Haven Jolene Cruz; cousins, Cyle Baxter and Tobey Williams

A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
