My name is Charles Douglas Sr. I met Dennis Martin in the mid-seventies while working as a pipefitter apprentice at Union Carbide Corp. As an African-American, just out of Vietnam, It was not easy working with everybody, but Mr. Dennis Martin was always helpful and treated me just like everybody else. I will never forget that. Jesus told his disciples in John 13:34-35, to love others as I have loved you, and by that love you exhibit to others, ...people will know you are my disciples. God calls how Mr. Rooster Martin treated me, and others he worked with... LOVE! I just want to say thanks to him and say God Bless His family! RIP Rooster!

The first I met Rooster I was amazed how much he looked and acted like his dad, a sense of humor, witty, and likeable guy. I got to work with Rooster for several years before I retired, almost stayed longer just to work with him, he was that kind of guy. I will miss our phone call, he kept me updated on what was going on at home. Condolences to his family, he will be missed
