BACLIFF - Mr. Denny Floyd Gallaway, Sr. passed from this life Tuesday, February 5, 2019, in Bacliff.

Born January 21, 1951 in Texas City, Mr. Gallaway had been a lifelong area resident. He raised goats, chickens, rabbits and turkeys but nothing gave him more joy than his family, especially his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Wade and Mary Elizabeth (Gann) Gallaway; son, Denny “Boe” Gallaway, Jr.; brothers, Alton Gallaway, Bobby Gallaway; sister, Beverly Maudin. Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Rosie Gallaway; son, Keith and Lea Gallaway of Bacliff; daughter, Tonya and Addison Tilton of Anahuac; brothers, Darrell Gallaway of Belton, Clifford and Cindy Gallaway of Bacliff, Leldon and Lani Gallaway of Dickinson, Rodger and Debra Gallaway of Dearfield, Michigan; grandchildren, Kristie and Brandon Garrett, Kassidy Tilton, Kasey Tilton, Kayleih Gallaway, Shelby Blankenship, Robert Joe Gallaway; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2019, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, with Pastor Don Owens officiating. Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Keith Gallaway, D. J. Harrison, Wes Howard, Paul Redden, Addison Tilton and Joey Tucker.

Visitation with the family will be from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501.
