Donald J. Williamson

LEAGUE CITY - Mr. Donald James Williamson passed from this life Tuesday evening, February 19, 2019, in League City.

Born August 14, 1947 in Stamford, Connecticut, Mr. Williamson had been a resident of League City for 27 years, previously of Casper, Wyoming. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in League City, coached baseball and was a former president of The Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Donald enjoyed fishing, hunting and he loved spending time with his pets.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph James and Helen Barbara (Kulbieda) Williamson; brother, Joel Steven Williamson.

Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Rosalinda “Linda” Williamson; son, Patrick “P. J.” Williamson of La Marque; daughter, Donna Dipuccio and husband, Cody of Houston; sister, Dale Stanford and husband, John of Florida; grandchildren, Karrissa Williamson, Dillon Williamson, Tyler Williamson, Krislyn Reaves, Ashley Dipuccio, C. J. Dipuccio; 6 great-grandcdhildren; nephews, Michael Stanford, Keith Stanford; niece, Susan Coppeta and husband, Leo.  

A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.    

Graveside services will be conducted 1:45 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2019, at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038.
