TEXAS CITY - Mrs. Doris Elaine Bauer passed from this life Tuesday morning, April 4, 2017, in Texas City.

Born January 7, 1922 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, Mrs. Bauer had been a resident of Texas City for more than 50 years. She enjoyed shopping and playing poker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Julius and Fannie Maude (Waters) Haller; son, James Edward “Bud” Bauer.

Survivors include her son, David Bauer; daughter, Jervaise Bauer Wilson of Texas City; sister, Helen Angela Clarke of Florence, Utah; grandchildren, Alexis Danielle Wilson, Breanne Bauer, Brittany Bauer; great-grandchildren, Cecilia Alexis Wilson-Sica and Mason Frederick Sica.

Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2017, at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Mausoleum, 10708 Highway 6, with Reverend Yohan Baek officiating.
