SANTA FE - Mr. Dwayne James Dawson passed from this life Saturday, April 21, 2018, in Santa Fe.

Born April 9, 1973 in Texas City Mr. Dawson had been a lifelong resident of Santa Fe. He was a great listener, who enjoyed playing online games, rebuilding and racing cars and loved his dog “Taco”.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David Ruben and Sara Patricia (Lonis) Dawson.

Survivors include his sons, Shane Day and Ethan Dawson of Santa Fe; brother, Richard Dawson and wife, Kelly of Santa Fe; nephew, Richard Jax Dawson; aunts, Sharon McAnespy and husband, Mack of Oklahoma, Peggy Reeves and husband, Jack of Texas City; cousin, Tiffanie Lobrych of Texas City, Dewey Louvier.

Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501, with Pastor Don Beebe officiating.
