My sympathy goes out to Fay's family and all descendants of the White family. I cherish memories of knowing this wonderful family since the 1930s when Murphy Harbour and Johnny Word roomed and boarded in my family home in Galveston . In fact, Johnny was my sister Shirley's Godfather. Many times we were invited to visit the White's family home for get-togethers, with the Henkles , Frances & Johnny, & Murphy & Ione. The Andersons lived near us in Galveston and we spent many good times with them, also! The family, including sweet Fay, always made us feel like part of the family. Her passing leaves me sad, but I am grateful that I am left with these loving memories of the times spent with her and her family. May God bless each of you and comfort you during this time of grief.
