The first time I met Greg was at a company Christmas party in the late 70’s. He looked like he was the one that “lost the fight”; he had lots cuts and bruises on his face, as I recall, one of his eyes was almost swollen shut, but as it turned out that he had been in an airboat accident with a friend. That was and I remember that he was very quiet.
In getting to know him, I would describe Greg as very unique, intelligent, funny, adventurous, surprising at times, content with his life and a man who loved genuinely his family. Conversations with Greg were engaging and entertaining, and most of all, never dull.
When I heard Greg passed away, a quote by Hunter S. Thompson came to mind: “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”
I will always think of Greg with a generous smile on his face and that mischievous twinkle in his eyes. He will surely be missed. . .
It was a privilege to know you, Greg Fleming. – Robbie Pyron
Pam, we love you and are thinking of you and the days ahead. Hoping you find peace to bring comfort and courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your heart. – Ken and Robbie

Greg was a very impressive man in many ways... He had a presence about him.... A straight forward man.. I cant imagine how big of a void his family must feel, we feel a huge void..we miss him and his outlook on life. We are truly sorry for the pain his family is going through.
