I have been friends with Jerry since Jr. High School.. He supported his friends and classmates always by attending the various gatherings and reunions through the past years..It meant so much to all of us as we looked forward to seeing him...friendly and a smile on his face! His presence will be missed and I wish his family peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Jerry Dozier was my good friend. Always smiling and a friendly greeting. I could drop by his office anytime and always received a friendly welcome.
Sometimes I would ask Jerry some legal questions and when I tried to pay him for his legal advice, he would look at me and say: You owe me nothing; you're family. A day or two after the Alvin flood in 1979, Jerry and his brother were at our door to help us clear carpet, furniture and litter.
May God bless the eternal soul of a good man and gracious friend: Jerry Dozier.

Jerry was a true friend and I will certainly miss him. He was a good man with a strong sense of fairness and a broad interest in the practice of law. He was a bulldog when he had to be, but that was the exception- he had a patient and kind disposition. I always enjoyed listening to his stories of the politics and early days of his law career in Alvin, Manvel and Rosharon. When I would go by his office for a visit I would see articles on his always messy desk about my daughter that he would cut out of the Alvin Sun. I think Jerry really enjoyed what he did with his life- his knowledge and his practice- he was the only lawyer I have ever known that was more interested in how he could help a client than he was about charging as much as he could for his services. It was obvious that he loved his God and his church. The people he served, me included, are very fortunate to have had his representation and his friendship.

Jerry was always a true Professional, and was a Credit to the Legal Profession. He was a Man of his Word and when dealing with him,you could rely on him honoring any agreement he made with you. He will be Missed
