     SANTA FE - Mr. Kenneth Ray Arnold passed from this life Sunday morning, December 31, 2017, in Webster.

     Born November 11, 1943 in Houston, Mr. Arnold had been a lifelong resident of Santa Fe. He proudly served his county in the United States Air Force and was a member of IBEW Local #527. Kenneth enjoyed coaching softball, going to the casinos in Louisiana but his biggest joy came from his family, especially his grandchildren, the three “P’s” Partner (Keaton), Pumpkin (Laney) and Princess (Ally).

      He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Rayford and Sadie Jessie (Massey) Arnold; brother, Michael Arnold.

     Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Joyce Arnold; daughters, Julie Arnold and Richard Chavez, Amy Childs and husband, Jeremy both of Santa Fe; brothers, Wayne Arnold and wife, Chris of Rosenberg, Rick Arnold and wife, Vicki of El Dorado, Arkansas; sisters, Glenda Flinn of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Keaton Gonzalez, Laney Childs, Ally Childs; numerous nieces and nephews.

     Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, with Reverend Yohan Baek officiating. Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.

     Pallbearers will be Richard Chavez, Jeremy Childs, Keaton Gonzalez, Terry Lemmond, Max Tully and Bob Williams.

     Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501.
