Marjorie Mae Golian

     BAYOU VISTA – Mrs. Marjorie Mae Golian passed from this life Monday morning, January 13, 2020, in Bayou Vista.

     Born October 29, 1924 in Canada, Mrs. Golian had lived over 40 years in the Houston area, previously of Cleveland, OH. Marjorie proudly served her country in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. She enjoyed camping, boating and water skiing, loved her pets but especially loved her grandkids and great grandkids.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordan and Florence Mae (Gibbs) Mann; husband, Zoltan Gustave Golian; sisters, Ruby Mann, Mabel Mann, Marilyn Norwood, Elna Beaulac, Kathleen Harahush, Lillian Staples; brothers, Alan, Alvin, George Mann.

     Survivors include her sons, Gregory Golian of Chattanooga, TN, Timothy Golian and wife, Madeleine French of San Antonio, Randal Golian of Bayou Vista; daughter, Cindy Golian and Vicki Howard of Santa Fe; brother, David Mann and wife, Erma of Redondo Beach, CA; grandchildren, Katherine Dupre, Jennifer Larson, Amanda Golian, Sarah Gyalog, Laura Black, Stephanie Schlattman; 11 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.   

     Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 17, 2020, with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s United Methodist Church, 400 Jackson Street, Richmond, TX, with Pastor Jeff Gantz officiating.  Interment will follow at Morton Cemetery, under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501.
