Mary Freida Harder Monteith Jenkins

SANTA FE – Mrs. Mary Freida Harder Monteith Jenkins passed from this life Wednesday, April 11, 2018, in Santa Fe.

Born May 27, 1919 in Bellaire, Texas, Mrs. Jenkins had been a resident of Santa Fe since 2006.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Max Herman and Mary Ann (Handrick) Harder; brothers, Roy Harder and Rudy Hardner.

Survivors include her sons, Royel Monteith, Clifton Monteith, Jack Monteith; daughters, Mary Ann May, Patsy Graham and husband, Rob; grandchildren, Pamela May Grice and husband, Terry, Vance May, Matthew Blackwell Monteith; 6 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
