FRIENDSWOOD - Mrs. Mary Louise (Hemingway) Perry passed from this life Tuesday evening, June 25, 2013, in Friendswood.

     Born April 20, 1921 in Galveston, Mrs. Perry had been a resident of Santa Fe for over 29 years, previously of Middletown, NY, and had worked as a technician for the Greater New York Blood Program for 18 years. Mary was a member of All Saints’ Episcopal Church, the Chaparral Golf Club, AARP, the Order of the Eastern Star #626 in Texas City and Queen Esther Eastern Star # 163 in New York.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew and Tora Hemingway; daughter, Barbara Ann Mabee; brother, George Hemingway.

     Survivors include her loving husband of 69 years, Myron R. Perry; daughter, Joan Louise Ott of Hurst, TX; son, Richard Myron Perry and wife, Katy of Friendswood; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

      No services are planned.  A private cremation was conducted under the direction of of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
