Mary Stuckey Obituary

Mary Ann Stuckey

ALVIN - Mrs. Mary Ann Stuckey passed from this life Wednesday morning, March 27, 2019, in Webster.

Mary Ann was born in Baytown on October 23, 1950 to Charles and Hazel (Owens) Maxey. During her younger years she traveled alongside her family to many interesting places until she met and married her husband of 43 years, Bill Stuckey. Together they started a family, but Mary Ann’s love and compassion extended beyond family. She loved everyone unconditionally. From neighborly luncheons to taking in animals... Mary Ann’s encouraging actions spoke as loud as her kind words. Before her retirement from the Tandy Co. she loved hosting parties on the weekends but after retirement, what she most enjoyed was being a grandmother. Among other things, Mary Ann liked spending time in her garden and was always ready to bet on the slots. Mary Ann left a legacy through those who were lucky enough to feel her warmth and we are forever grateful to have spent 68 wonderful years with her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Larry Maxey, Ralph Dirst and Mike Maxey.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Stuckey; son, Woody Stuckey and wife, Melissa; daughters, Ginger Stuckey-Horn, Jennifer Money-Fain and husband, Billy, Anna Stevens; grandchildren, Brandon Amsden, Ashley Dugan, Justin Noble, Dalton Amsden, Kayla Pine, Tyler Amsden, Meganne Money, Kody Boltz, Katie Horn; numerous great-grandchildren; nephews, Eric Maxey, Chad Maxey; nieces, Robin Maxey, Tracey Maxey-Johnson, Melissa McArthur; faithful pup companion, Jack.
