SANTA FE - Mrs. Mary Ann Zuniga passed from this life Saturday morning, August 5, 2017, in Alvin.
Born August 24, 1943 in Palacios, TX, Mrs. Zuniga had been a resident of Santa Fe since 1987. She was a co-owner of Marvin’s Trading Post for 17 years and a former member of Algoa Baptist Church. Mary enjoyed arts and crafts, crocheting and making jewelry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Zaragoza Gonzalez Salinas and Benice Dovie (Leach) Salinas; brothers, Charles “Junior" Salinas, Christopher Salinas and Edward Salinas; grandson, Michael Thomas French.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin Wagner; daughters, Bonita Peyton and husband, Brian, Linda Marshman, Juanita Waits; brother, Alvin Salinas; 8 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 18, 2017, at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery, with Pastor Don Beebe officiating, under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, (409) 925-3501.
