Nadie Simpson
SANTA FE - Mrs. Nadie Simpson passed from this life Monday evening, October 29, 2018, in Santa Fe.
Psalm 112:5 says that “good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice” - and that is exactly how Nadie Simpson lived her life. Born March 24, 1934 in Arcadia, TX, Nadie blessed the Santa Fe community with her generosity for 84 years. She was a proud and very active member of Arcadia Christian Church. Always working behind the scenes, she made sure all church functions ran smoothly and no job was left undone. She was passionate about giving her time and resources to HIS Ministries, but her compassion didn’t stop there. Nadie gave her all for her family. Whether it was a delicious meal, a place to stay or words of wisdom… she made sure her home and her heart was always open. Her time here on earth will always be treasured by the lives she’s touched as she goes on to spend eternity with the love of her life, Ell, in the great kingdom of heaven with her Lord Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Ell Edward Simpson; parents, Sherman W. and Sarah Quinola (Robertson) Rush; son, Sherman Simpson; brother, Arthur A. Autry.
