SANTA FE - Rafael “Ralph” Mendoza, Jr. passed from this life Sunday afternoon, March 4, 2018, in Texas City.

Ralph was born August 14, 1967 in Wharton, TX to Rafael and Alicia (Balboa) Mendoza, Sr. He had been a resident of Santa Fe for the last 20 years, previously of La Marque. Ralph was a man of many layers. He could be goofin around and sing Mariah Carey one minute but be hard at work the next. Ralph’s strong work ethic and vast knowledge allowed him to excel in several different industries, which gave him the ability to run his own business, R&M Enterprises. He loved Tiffany and his family including his fur babies, PePe and Rocky and would always put their needs and happiness first. Ralph’s witty and straight forward attitude will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Alicia (Balboa) Mendoza, Sr.; brother, Joel Mendoza.

Survivors include his loving wife, Tiffany; step-daughters, Gyllian, Kaitlyn, & Allyson; sister, Edeviges Mendoza; brothers, Rudy Mendoza, Ruben Mendoza and his wife, Rachel; niece, Amanda Vasquez; nephews, Angel Mendoza, Ruben Mendoza, Anthony Crook; fur babies, Pepe and Rocky; with numerous friends and family.

Memorial services will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2018, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501, with Pastor Mike LaBerge officiating.
