     SANTA FE – Mr. Ronald Darrell Dennis passed from this life Tuesday morning, December 26, 2017, in Santa Fe.

     Born May 24, 1950 in Texas City, Mr. Dennis was a resident of Santa Fe for 30 years. He had worked as a carpenter for the Carbide/Marathon plants for many years before retiring. Ronald was a loving man who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Boyce Albert and Cora Mae (Cannaday) Dennis; brothers, Terry Dennis, Boyce Dennis.

     Survivors include his daughter, Melissa Rene Martin and significant other, Darrell Andrews; grandson, Christopher Martin; niece, Amanda and husband, Robert Castillo; nephews, Danny Dennis and wife, Kandis, Randy Dennis; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

     A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
