HITCHCOCK – Mr. Steve Perez passed from this life Monday, July 3 2017, in Hitchcock.

Born June 5, 1956 in Galveston, Mr. Perez had been a lifelong resident Hitchcock. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Steve had a remarkable sense of humor and was an extremely caring individual, always taking of others.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Frances Perez; sisters, Mercy Bosquez Lahmen, Margaret Davidson, Linda Cloud; brother, Michael Perez.

Survivors include his brothers, Gilbert Perez, II, and wife, Linda, Robert Perez, Gary Cloud; nieces, Shelby Cloud, Samantha Martin, Brandy Bosquez, Tony Davidson; nephews, John Bosquez and wife, Stella, Edward Bosquez, Scott Perez, Jacob Perez, Gilbert Perez, III, Ivan Davidson, II, and wife, Kandace, Mark Davidson, Shawn Cintron; numerous great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501. A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
