Anna Marie Huffine
SANTA FE - Mrs. Anna Marie Huffine passed from this life Sunday afternoon, February 7, 2021, in Santa Fe.
Born May 16, 1928 in Shepherd, Michigan, Mrs. Huffine had been a resident of Santa Fe for 25 years, previously of Tyler. Anna had worked as a legal secretary and a couple banks. Anna was a member of Arcadia Christian Church. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, working puzzles, singing and playing the piano; but most of all, she enjoyed spending time visiting with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Charles Arthur and Jennie Annie (Palmer) Pile; husband, Newton Lamar Huffine; sons, David Lee Huffine and Daniel Bruce Huffine; brothers, Basil Pile, LaDoyt Pile and William Pile.
Survivors include her daughter Martha Adams and husband, Marty of Santa Fe; sisters, Barbara Hughes, Helen Braun both of Florida; grandchildren, John Huffine, Matthew Huffine and wife, Cara, Ben Huffine and wife, Jennifer, Sara Huffine and husband, Herb, Jennifer Shelton and husband, Donald, Alicia Biela and husband, James, Ashley Thomas, Amber Adams and husband, Michael Lee, Zachary Adams and wife, Cahla; numerous great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Zachary Adams, James Biela, Ben Huffine, John Huffine, Matthew Huffine and Michael Lee.
Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Arcadia Christian Church, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Graveside service and interment will 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery in Tyler, Texas.
The family would like to give special thanks to Anna’s caregivers, Amber Adams, Payton Eernissee, Jeanice Miller, Charolette Gardner and Harbor Hospice.
