Antonette "Tonie" Louise Meier

SANTA FE - Mrs. Antonette Louise Meier, known as “Tonie” passed from this life at the age of 78 at her home in Santa Fe.

Born August 14, 1945, in Galveston, Tonie attended Rosenberg, Stephen F. Austin and Ball High. She managed the Victorian Oaks and the Granada Apartments in Galveston. Tonie enjoyed having garage sales, loved doing puzzles, playing Publisher’s Clearing House games while watching The Young and The Restless. Her and Carl were also fascinated with archeology, they had a collection of Indian artifacts they had found. She attended Arcadia Christian Church and was very involved in Helping Others, she sewed many pillowcases and was active in the Arcadians at church. In the last 4 years she had begun to attend Clear Creek Community Church in League City with Teresa and Howard Nolen and family. She spent many hours with the Nolen’s and enjoyed going to watch their grandchildren play ball and going out to eat with them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Joseph Meier and daughter, Dalynn Marie.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2024, Arcadia Christian Church, 14201 Beriton, Santa Fe, with Mr. Marty Adams officiating. 

Memorials in the form of donations may be made in Tonie’s name to Helping Others @Arcadia Christian Church, 14201 Beriton, Santa Fe, TX 77517, so that she may continue helping others.
