Arlie Vester “Baby Arlo” Spain, V passed from this life Friday, January 10, 2025, in Webster.

Baby Arlo, born October 26, 2024, weighing 8 lb. 8 oz. and measuring 21 inches long, was a perfect blessing to his family. Though his time on earth was brief, he brought so much joy and love to everyone who met him. A true daddy’s boy, his head turned and ears perked when he heard him calling. Baby Arlo loved to smile at his mommy, filling her heart with such delight. He had a knack for watching TV like an old man, contentedly vibrating in his favorite chair. His talkative babbles to his mommy were the sweetest conversations, as his personality began to shine through in every moment. If one word could describe him, it would be “happiness.”

He is preceded in death by his great-great grandparents, Arley Vester Spain, Sr (Mittie).; great-grandfather, William Machupa, Sr.; great-great-grandfather, Ricardo DeLeon; cousin, Joshua DeLeon; great-aunt, Maria Virginia DeLeon; great-uncles, Corey Overbeck, James D. Manuel, Jr.

Survivors include his parents, Jayda Paige Overbeck and Arlie Vester Spain, IV; grandparents, Cheryl Sandoval (Ron), Julia Raanes, John Overbeck, IV, Arlie Vester Spain, III; great-grandparents, Arlie Vester Spain, Jr. (Joan), Jessica DeLeon Hale (Frank), Carol Ann Machupa, Patricia Susan Hinds; John Overbeck, III; great-great-grandmother, Ofelia DeLeon; aunts and uncles, Meghan Spain, Rebecca Sandoval, Reece Sandoval, John Overbeck, V, Jacob Overbeck, Jessa McDowell, Maggie Manuel; great-aunts and great-uncles, William Machupa, Jr, (Kalyn), Dustin Raanes (Amanda), Rhonda Jones (Randy); cousin, Mekailah Marie Hamman; furry siblings, Stevie, Nygil, Otis; many more family members who loved him deeply.

Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with a service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Arcadia First Baptist Church, 14828 Highway 6, Santa Fe, Texas, with Pastor Joshua McDonald officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Reece Sandoval, Jacob Overbeck and John Overbeck.
