HITCHCOCK - Mr. Arthur Carrier passed from this life Tuesday morning, August 3, 2021, in Hitchcock.

Born August 27, 1936 in Manhattan, New York, Mr. Carrier had been a resident of Hitchcock since 2015 previously of Bayou Vista. Arthur proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard. He enjoyed playing pinochle, cooking and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Catherine (Testa) Carrier; wife, Jean Carrier; brother, Daniel Carrier.

Survivors include his sons, Daniel Thomas Carrier of Dallas, Steven Arthur Carrier and wife, Dr. Elsa Brown Carrier of Chico, California; daughter, Dianne Jean Carrier of League City; sisters, Jane Johnson and Christine Conley Collins; grandchildren, Joseph Arthur Carrier, Alexander Steven Carrier, Keli Suzanne Nace, Eve Rene Carrier, Benjamin Berkley Carrier; great-granddaughter, Madeleine Carrier.

A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
