LIVERPOOL - Mr. William H. “Bill” Redding, Jr. passed from this life Wednesday afternoon, July 5, 2023, at his home in Liverpool.

Bill was born September 23, 1957 in Houston, where he had lived most of his life before moving to Liverpool in 2018. He was self-employed as a landscaper for the majority of his life and enjoyed hunting but fishing and being on the water was his passion. He was creative in many ways and this could be seen in his landscape design, his cooking, and his living space by the water. His greatest joy in life came from wetting a hook. Bill never met a stranger and was well respected in the fishing community.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Holdman Redding, Sr. and Carolyn Sue (Cornelius) Redding.

Survivors include his daughters, Haley Gonzalez and husband, Chris, Micah Redding; step children, Abby Foltz and Bain Henson. His brother, David Redding and wife, Kristen and their children, Sarah and Ben Redding. He had numerous grandchildren.

A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501.

A celebration of life service will be held in September on Chocolate Bayou.
