GALVESTON – Mrs. Blanca Estella Lara passed away from this life on Thursday, November 2, 2023, in Galveston.

Blanca embodied boundless kindness, generously sharing, especially her love for coffee and donuts. Her magnetic personality effortlessly connected with others, proudly introducing her cherished daughters. In her final moments, she embraced family and the beauty of Galveston Island, leaving a legacy of limitless love in the hearts of those she touched. Farewell to Blanca, with wishes of peace and solace in the realm beyond, alongside her son Elias, until paths reunite.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramon and Irma Lara; son, Elias Vargas; brother-in-law, Roland Morales; sister, Juanita Lara.

Survivors include her daughters, Angelica Gamez, and Rebecca Poullard; good friend, Chuan Tan; sisters, Lilia Mugartegui, Barbara Alvarado, Rosie Morales; brothers, Ramon Lara, Ruben Pecina and all of their families; grandchildren, Nathen and Sienna Poullard; caregiver, Jada Garcia.

A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral
