Bonnie Monroe Obituary

Bonnie Lou Monroe

SANTA FE - Mrs. Bonnie Lou Monroe passed from this life Monday morning, December 18, 2023, in Webster.

Bonnie was born October 1, 1941, in Galveston – a proud BOI. She met the love of her life, Nicholas Herman Monroe, Jr., while still in high school. After graduating from Texas City High School, Bonnie and Nick began their lives together, marrying in 1960. Bonnie knew how to truly make a home. Her compassion combined with her fun and witty personality brought life into the family house. She enjoyed spending her days creating a warm home full of love and laughter. Bonnie loved her family and relished all they did. Bonnie was a woman of class who always dressed to the T, even if she was staying home all day. She just enjoyed looking nice, and her beauty was something we’ll always admire. She loved and was loved deeply, her love for the Lord was evident in her daily life as she encouraged and mentored others on their journey and showed love to all. Her love will continue to be felt by all that she touched until we see her again.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and June Talley; son-in-law, William H. Perry, III; sister, Diane Richards; brother, Jackie Speights.
